Mirage Retractable Warranty - Summarized

Mirage Screen Systems Inc. offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of Mirage Screens, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty is valid as long as the original purchaser owns the screen and until ownership is transferred.

Exclusions

a. Damage due to various factors beyond the control of Mirage Screen Systems Inc.
b. Non-residential applications
c. Mesh and mesh components
d. Defects caused by modification, misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
e. Defects involving subjective personal preferences
f. Defects asserted by purchasers who did not buy from an authorized Mirage distributor or dealer in the USA or Canada
g. Defects asserted by purchasers who did not have the screen installed by an authorized Mirage distributor or dealer
h. Defects caused by doorway conditions beyond the control of Mirage Screen Systems Inc. and its authorized distributors and dealers

Exceptions

Electronic motors, electrical accessories, and manual drives are warranted for five years from the date of installation, against failure under expected normal use. The warranty is void if these components are exposed to water, acts of God, or abnormal conditions.

The warranty covers the costs of removal, shipping, and installation of defective materials for one year from the date of original installation by an authorized Mirage distributor or dealer. It also covers a lifetime warranty on all parts, except mesh, excluding installation and shipping.

Limitations

Mirage Screen Systems Inc.'s obligations are limited to repair or replacement of defective parts at their sole discretion. They are not liable for any damages, including economic loss, indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
